What happens in a slow motion booth?
When guests come to the booth we give them party props. They have 5 seconds to get wild or be silly in front of the camera. Instant playback will begin as those 5 seconds are shown in super slow motion. Ridiculousness ensues.
What props are included for slow motion video booths?
We provide a variety of props. Glitter and confetti poppers are very popular. All of this is covered so no worry on your part. We can also take special requests for props within reason. However when planning props for your slow motion booth, be sure to mind the cleanup. Glitter and Confetti are easy to sweep up but we generally want to avoid liquids and anything that might leave a stain.
Would I need to ensure a specific amount of space and power for the video booth?
Yes, clients are responsible for arranging an appropriate amount of space for their video booth which is about 10’ x 15’. As for power, each video booth requires a 110V 3 prong outlet from a reliable power source. The circuit must be free of all other connected loads and must not be on a dimmer. A video booth also requires about 1500W of power.
What does 240fps even mean?
Good question! I'm glad you asked. When you go to the movies, or even if you watch one from home - you typically are viewing a movie recorded at 24 frames per second. This simply means that to achieve the video look 24 images (or frames) play through on the screen to simulate motion. Our cameras capture 240frames per second. With all these extra frames every second, we are able to slow down our footage exactly 10X slower than real-speed. That's pretty impressive! (Slower options are available upon request)
